Root for your Black

The term “root” comes from the Unix/Linux world and is used to describe a user who has “superuser” rights or permissions to all the files and programs in the software OS (Operating System). The root user, because they have “superuser” privileges, can essentially change or modify any of the software code on the device. You see, your phone manufacturer/carrier only gives you “guest” privileges when you purchase your device.

“Rooting” your device means obtaining “superuser” rights and permissions to your Android’s software. With these elevated user privileges, you gain the ability to load custom software (ROM’s), install custom themes, increase performance, increase battery life, and the ability to install software that would otherwise cost extra money (ex: WiFi tethering). Rooting is essentially “hacking” your Android device. In the iPhone world, this would be the equivalent to “Jailbreaking” your phone.

First thing we know is that we have installed version because the method will vary depending on one or another.

  • Version V10 -> LG Esteem or ROM patched with CWM.
  • Version V20 -> ROM patched with CWM.
  • Version V30 -> Unlock Root.

All methods are simple and requires no extra knowledge. Then enter thoroughly with each of them.

-SUPERUSER. download (only ROM patched)

This method is completely safe and whether we do it right and get ROOT permissions or if we do not go as expected, we will not lose anything of what we have on the phone.

  • Go to Settings - Applications - Development and make sure that "USB Debugging" is checked
  • Connect phone to your PC
  • Double Click run.bat
  • And watch the magic happen!
  • The process is complete when set:

 "..Cleaning up...Rebooting...

     Root complete, enjoy!

     Press any key to exit."

  • Put files ROM patched in the correct order

When the process completes our OPTIMUS opens in recovery mode (CWM), which have to do now is install SUPERUSER.ZIP:

  • Make wipe data / factory reset (If you come from a official rom is not necessary although it is recommended, this will erase everything we had on the phone, the SD NO)
  • Then select Install zip from sdcard> choose zip from sdcard> SUPERUSER.ZIP
  • We return to the main menu and reboot system now.

Now you can install your apps ROOT

Unlock root is another method for rooting our android phones easily and effectively. This allows us to root in about 200 devices with Google's operating system, but what interests us is to do our Black root, specifically in ICS versions (V30).

The risk of the procedure is prácticamnte null, ROOT will follow a few simple steps and within minutes we will have our fully mobile roteado.Sigue reading to learn how to use this method.

  • Download and install Unlock Root.
  • Turn on mobile debugging mode in Settings> Developer options> USB Debugging.
  • Connect your phone to your PC via USB cable.
  • Open Unlock Root and click root.

The process will take a few minutes, the phone will reboot and you will be ROOT.
